This fall, the preparatory integration course "Kompass" started with seven women and their children.
The course is called "Kompass" because it is an integration course for survivors of human trafficking that points the way forward and prepares them for the future.
The course includes subjects such as coping with everyday life in Germany, German language lessons, personality development, and pedagogical art education. There are also afternoon activities, such as a bicycle course, swimming course, and first aid course for children.
In addition, skills such as concentration, time management, and regular attendance are practiced, which are of great advantage for subsequent German courses, job training, or work.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate at the graduation ceremony.
All participants receive additional social pedagogical support and guidance.
Childcare is provided for the women's children at the same time as the classes so that they can concentrate fully on the course. In addition, the children learn how to interact with other children and how to behave in childcare.
We are very happy that a new round of "Kompass" can start and look foreward to it.
